3440 Fall tenne times double] Wilson (1934, 1: 140): presents the Q2 reading of double as an error induced by the fact that 3439 [O treble woe] appeared at the foot of one page and this line [3440] at the head of the next, “a fact which helps to account for the error.” Wilson prefers the Ff reading of trebble which duplicates the previous line’s Oh treble woe [though F1 prints Oh terrible woer].
