3340 Elze (ed. 1857): "MC hat die Stelle von dem Grunde, wesshalb Hamlet nach England geschikt sei, wie die Angabe über die Zeit, während welcher der Todtengräber sein Amt versehen hat, gestrichen. Collier Notes and Emendations 430." [MC [mcol1] has struck out this passage regarding the reason why Hamlet may have been sent to England as the assertion for the time during which the gravedigger had seen his appointment.
