2980 Kittredge (ed. 1936): “Horatio’s reply accords with custom. Cf. Robert Tailor, The Hog hath Lost his Pearl, iii (Collier’s Dodsley, VI, 368): Haddit. My young lord, God save you. Young Lord Wealthy. And you also.’ But there is a touch of Horatio’s mild humour (see 1.1.19); for the sailor (who doubtless looks like the pirate that he is) may well need God’s blessing.”
