203 so much for him] Jenkens (ed. 1982) identifies the him as Fortinbras and asserts that so much is not a dismissive comment but refers to what Fortinbras has done so far; Now in 204 refers to what the king plans to do about it.

203 so much] OED (1993): While in 1542 the phrase is used to introduce a comparison. by 1614, it seems to denote a turning to another topic. In 1653, the phrase is used to end one topic and begin another.
