OED
949 th’other] OED: tother may be somewhat more archaic, somewhat more Northern (Scottish). OED has tother day as a separate entry, so maybe tother would not be found in other locutions.

949 th’other] Kliman (1995): F1 tother is spelled t’other in rowe1. Presumably the pronunciation of Q2 is somewhat different from that of F1. At 3554 when Hamlet says th’other in Q2, he says the other in F1. In both Q2 and F1, Hamlet says the other to his mother at 2542 and to Horatio in 3500; Claudius says the other at 3024.
