641 reaches] Clark & Wright (ed. 1872): “Cp. [956] and [2H6 1. 2. 46 (320)]: ‘Above the reach or compass of thy thought.’ The plural is here used as in [172, loues].”
Not a very helpful note in my opinion. It’s one thing to use a xref or // to support a gloss, another to use it instead of a gloss. Their gloss at 956 is somewhat more helpful, but it derives from del2: far-sighted.
